Max Flinn

Max Flinn was born and raised in Houston, TX. He was an active, happy boy who enjoyed sports, his church youth group and music. As a teenager, he became the star quarterback on his high school football team, with sights set on playing in college. But Max was battling some heavy demons inside. What started as partying on the weekends turned into full-blown drug and alcohol addiction. For several years, Max’s life was an on-again, off-again battle to stay sober. He was in and out of several treatment centers, and in and out of jail before finally throwing in the towel in 2012. Since then, he has remained sober, graduated from college, and worked as a financial analyst in the oil and gas industry. Currently Max is living his dream making a living as a full-time musician. His single “As Big as the Storm” was dedicated to the resiliency of Houstonians in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey and helped raise money for flood victims. He’s opened shows for the Eli Young Band, Hal Ketchum, Cory Morrow, Ryan Bingham, and more. In the summer of 2019, Max married Brittney Blair, who teaches middle school math, and who frequently sings with him onstage.

Max is passionate about sharing his journey from addiction to recovery with individuals and groups. He has found his true purpose in helping others recover, whether through his music or community outreach.
